Update: Player dashing, bullet glow, screen flash, and more!
Lots of new stuff today, really adding to the feel of the game I want to make.
-Added player dashing, using RMB or the left trigger. You can dash twice a second.
-Added bullet glow, cheap and easy version
-Added a nice trail and glow to the player to help them stand out
-Added a screen flash effect, used when you take damage
-Added weapon name displays when you are near them, as well as a weapon display in the HUD
-Made enemies more likely to shoot you more as you progress through levels
-Made all bullets faster to accommodate new dashing mechanic
-Made enemies do more damage (actually fixed a bug where enemies were all doing only 5 damage)
-Made triangle enemies faster
